James, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family for the loss of your dear loved one. Please find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. He has raised the dead in the past and he will do it again in the near future. Until then, it is just like they are sleeping. (John 11:11-13) God promised that soon he will:” Wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry or pain be anymore. (Rev. 21:4) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort. Warmest regards.

My dear Aunt Martha was always enthusiastic about our interests and always encouraged us. Some of my fondest memories revolve around art and creative time together. Once she taught me how to use her loom. I got to choose some of the most beautiful ribbon and yarn to make a pretty sash/belt, which I wore with pride. Also, Martha took my sister, Margaret, and me to a handmade paper class at the High Museum in Atlanta. The three of us tried to hide our giggles as we happily defied the teacher by not doing exactly as instructed but creatively making paper to our enjoyment! We loved our time together and always found time to really laugh! My memories are sweet and I hold them dear. I will always look up to her gentle and kind-hearted manner. She certainly knew how to make each of us feel special and loved!
