Our family feels blessed to have known Harvey and Pat for more than 30 years. Their long, loving relationship has been a role model to all and Partridge Animal Hospital is a special place in our community. In addition to the kind, expert care we always received from Harvey for our many animals over the years (including our Siamese cat, Maui, whom he cared for for over 20 years!), we always enjoyed spending time with Harvey to talk about the Gators, his family’s love of the outdoors and their travels around the world.
The passing of these two amazing people leaves a hole in our community, but the countless memories we all cherish of Pat and Harvey fills our heart.
With love,
Doug & Stephanie Davidson

40 years ago I had the unbelievable good fortune to walk into Harvey's office with my sick dog. Years later, I can still hardly believe my good fortune on that day. With Harvey's compassion and skill, he made my life so much easier. I knew that all of my animals through the years have had the absolutely best care they could get. He and his lovely wife Pat will be missed by many of us whose lives have been touched and enriched by knowing them.

A more kind, generous, and loving couple, I've never met. Harvey and Pat were wonderful people who always had time for friends, family, and pets. In times of emergency, both Pat and Harvey helped me and my pets, seeing them through issues that had them on death's door and nursing them back to spend many more happy and healthy years with me. Harvey was a passionate man who loved animals, the outdoors, and fishing along with so many other things. We fished together, told jokes, shared stories, and laughed. We shared an interest in antique fishing tackle and one day he even sutured my hand when my fillet knife managed to cut me instead of my fish.
Harvey was the cat whisperer. His gentle way with animals put them at ease and you could always see their trust in him. Pat was always there to assist and support. Harvey was a miracle worker at times, adding many more years to the lives of cats I've had despite the fact that they had already used up their 9-lives. I'm so thankful to have known Pat and Harvey, but am so sad that we have lost a wonderful and loving couple and good friends. We will fish again, my friends.

Dr. Partridge was an absolute wonderful Veterinarian, as well as human being. He saved our 13 year old Lab, Reilly twice, after swallowing a knotted sock toy, and 6 months later a long fuzzy robe tie. Doctor partridge said in all the years of his work he never saw a dog that could swallow both of those things. He was a wonderful kind man and we are so sad that he is gone. God bless him and his lovely wife. May you be in heaven with all the animals you have saved.

Dr. Partridge has been a blessed part of our lives for 41 years. He has taken such compassionate care of our 17 Animals over the years. He has given us hope when we had none and healed them. Shared our grief when we lost one of their precious souls and blessed the new ones that came along. We always told anyone we met that he was God's gift to pets and pet owners. Just as he did then He is doing now in the blessings during his eternal rest. He is not ours anymore in a physical way, but he always be ours spiritually and forever in our hearts.
We have had the pleasure of lovely conversation over the years with Patricia and his two Son's and knew the pride and joy they had for them and their Grandchildren. All that is left is Thank You Dr. Partridge, You will be forever is our Hearts and Memory.
You left Big shoes for someone to fill! Rest in Peace Doctor and Mrs. Partridge.
Love and appreciation, Always, Beverly Przybylski and Teresa Goins

Harvey Partridge was my vet when I was a single parent with two young children and Black Bart, our trusty dog, numerous cats and a lop eared bunny named Chutzpah. It was 1978. I have had other fine vets over the years, but none who could compare with Dr. Partridge. He practiced loving kindness as a way of life, a way of doing business, a way of caring for animals... he never spoke of it; he didn't need to put into words what he put in action. And, while I never met his wife, Patricia, it seems to me that together they made a good team, They built a strong business that supported their family... and was shaped by the spirit of loving kindness.
So, now, I offer sincere condolences to their family members, staff, and business partners and friends. May you each soon be able to put aside mournful thoughts and join together in celebrating lives well=lived. While they have left us early, let us not be late in emulating their best practice...humble loving kindness.

I only had the pleasure of meeting dr. Partridge one time and that was because my vet Dr freborg wasn't sure if he thought my dog may have cancer because of all the dark spots all on her belly dr. Partridge came in smiled and said you just have a Dalmatian underneath all that fur my dog had red fur and was German Shepherd Lab mix he gave me a beautiful grin in my heart was so happy to hear that my dog did not have cancer. I've talked to many people who have used him as their vet for decades and have told me what a wonderful man he was my sincere sympathies to the entire Partridge family and their extended family there at Partridge Animal Hospital sincerely, Catherine Beminio

I have only known Dr. Partridge for a few months but he has impacted my life in a way I cannot convey. I do not believe there is a more compassionate, knowledgeable, thoughtful and caring person. He always took time with us and answered every question we had and would even just sit and chat awhile to find out about us and our lives. He never hurried us along or rushed us out of the office. He LOVED our German Shepard "Gunnar" and was always so happy to see him come in every visit. He delighted in seeing him improving and getting well after months of uncertainty. He removed a record 7 lb spleen from Gunnar and shared his story of surgery. He said it was always something to note when he said "Quick, someone get a camera"! He said Gunnar was only his second ever case of Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick Fever he'd seen in all of his years as a veterinarian. He didn't stop until he found the true cause of all of Gunnar's medical problems. He gave me his personal cell phone number and insisted that I call with any questions or concerns. He would even call me on weekends and evenings just to check on Gunnar, and ME! I saw Dr. Partridge as sort of a father figure that I could put all of my faith and trust in, and that he would always know what to do. I am so deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear of this tragedy and cannot understand its reason. Sadly, I never got to meet his wife Pat. I am certain she was extraordinary! I can only offer my prayers for healing and comfort for his family and all of the Partridge Animal Hospital family. I can't imagine your grief and sense of loss, as you all have known him much longer and I am sure have come to love him. How could you not? What a sad day for us all! What a joyful day in Heaven upon their arrival! We will miss you and always remember you for saving our beloved Gunnar!

Harvey was our vet for almost 30 years. We are heartbroken over his loss. He was so kind, compassionate and caring. He wrapped his arms around us and cried with us when it was time for Aspen to cross over Rainbow Bridge. Recently our 14 yr old Bella has had some serious health issues but after seeing Harvey she’s so much better. I told him just recently when it is time to say goodbye to her he would have to be the one with us. He always spoke of his beloved Pat each time I saw him. Our heartfelt prayers go out to his family, the doctors and staff at Partridge Animal Hospital and to all those whose lives he touched. Bonnie and Bill Davis

Sincere condolences and prayers for strength and healing to the family members, friends and colleagues of the Partridges. Having moved to the area only a year and a half ago, The Partridge Animal Hospital came highly recommended and Dr. Partridge was the first vet in the practice to see my Sadie and Max. He was so very kind, thorough and gentle, and has helped Max in particular through a great deal of back pain - and though he is a mature 13.5 years old, he is again running and playing like a puppy. Like so many, I was devastated to hear that we have lost such a wonderful human being; and though I never met Pat, I have no doubt that she was an extraordinary woman. One thing is for sure - there were countless beloved pets who previously crossed the rainbow bridge gathered to greet the Partridges.

Dr Partridge was not only an amazing veterinarian, but also kind, generous, and caring man. I will never forget how much he has helped our little chihuahua. We had been to countless doctors before for her epilepsy and tried countless medications. Dr Partridge was the only veterinarian who had ever thought to consult with a neurologist to come up with a plan to help her, which has helped her tremendously. He always took the time to explain everything and would always call us back whenever we had questions (and we had lots of questions). He even took the time to check her liver with an ultrasound with no fuss at all. Pretty much any other veterinarian would have charged an immense amount of money for that, but Dr Partridge just wanted to help our little chihuahua because he knew that she was suffering with her seizures. His kindness and genuineness empathy was easily visible, and the loss of him is a huge loss for the animal community... Our condolences to the Partridge family and may he and Mrs. Partridge Rest In Peace...

Harvey was my vet for many years and helped me through much joy and pain. There were two of my pets that I believe he loved the most - my retired from the track greyhound Chase and my cat Murphy. Murphy developed cancer and Harvey did his best to help her through surgery and chemo. When she received chemo he would allow me to go into the back (private for staff) room to hold her. When she wouldn't eat, he would share his lunch with her and she would eat for him. Pat must have put something special in those lunches. At the end I had to take her back to the hospital and Harvey came in on his day off and called me at work to tell me it was time and waited for me to get there to hold her while he helped her over the Rainbow Bridge. He had a special affection for her because she looked so much like his cat Betty. I believe he was the animals gift from God and such a special person. Special and so honest as he would never recommend a client spend money unnecessarily just for him to make money. This is a huge loss to the community and so sad that he and Pat didn't get to enjoy many years of retirement. I have a picture in my mind of all the animals coming to meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
