Obituary of McCarron Latham Miller

With pain and sadness, the family of McCarron Latham Miller (Best), 37, will share their loss on Sunday, February 28, 2021, with others who loved her.

McCarron was born February 3, 1984 and died February 15, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband, Austin Miller and her two beautiful stepchildren, Tad and Rory Miller. Others grieving her loss are her mother, Marse Walsh (David Coash); her father, Patrick Best (Eileen), and her brother Neil Best (Samantha, Jasper and Cyrus) along with other family members and multitudes of friends.

McCarron expressed happiness with dance, gymnastics, ice skating, and music but truly found her “voice” through singing. If asked if she could “really” sing, she would burst into an acapella version of something by Adele or Christina Aguilera, much to everyone’s delight. She sang in clubs, recorded jingles for local radio stations, and opened numerous events for the American Cancer Society with the Star-Spangled Banner. Her greatest joy was to share the spotlight with her dad and join him on stage for their version of “Walking in Memphis.”

While McCarron’s devastating blue eyes and infectious smile are forever captured in pictures, her spirit is forever captured in our hearts. It is there we will keep her safe.
