Obituary of Elizabeth Boyd

Elizabeth Sparks Frost Boyd, 100, of Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away on January 27th, 2022. She was born February 7th, 1921 in Buffalo, New York. Elizabeth was affiliated with Riviera United Methodist Church. She was active in the choir and dedicated herself to many duties in her Church Community. Elizabeth retired from the Healthcare Industry and served various roles as a nurse. During that time, she was President of the Mound Park Nurses Alumni Association. Her various roles included being a nurse at Mound Park, Now Bayfront Medical Center, Hospital, and Suncoast Medical Clinic. She was the Assistant Director of nurses at Abbey Skilled Nursing Facility. Elizabeth was also an avid Supervisor and Consultant for skilled nursing facilities to facilitate State Compliance Regulations. She was extremely motivated, driven, and hardworking with everything she did. Elizabeth enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, traveling, gardening, and raising her Orchids. But, most importantly, Elizabeth was a Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Mentor for many, and Caregiver for her Mother just as her Son, John, was for her.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by Her Loving Husband of 42 Years: Ross H Boyd Senior; Her Parents: Elmer B. Frost and Eugenie E. Brown Frost; Her Brothers: Ray H. Frost, Edwin L. Frost, William H. Frost, Elmer B. Frost Jr., and Jack Frost; Her Sister: Dorothy E. Frost Johns; and Her Grandson: Ross H. Boyd III. She is survived by Her two Sons: Ross H. Boyd Jr. (Janice Boyd) and John B. Boyd; two Daughters: Marion B. Weeks and Susan E. Declet (Dale Declet); Her Sister: Mary K. Bryson; 8 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

 

A gathering will be held at Riviera United Methodist Church, Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, at 10 am
