Obituary of Carolynn Snejberg

Carolynn “Carol” Louetta Snejberg, age 81 of St. Petersburg passed away Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 at Bayfront Medical Center. She was born on December 14th, 1940, in Kankakee, Ill, the daughter of Arthur & Hulda (Mothan) Christensen. Surviving are Daughter and son-in-law Tina & David Solomon of St. Petersburg, FL 2 sons Jerry and daughter-in- law Jeannette Snejberg from Chebanse, Ill and Son Norman and daughter-in-law Sharon Snejberg of Indian Rocks Beach, FL. Three sisters and one brother-in-law, Lois Ester of Dewitt, IA Marilynn & Charles Dauderman of Rockford, Ill and Judy O’Brien of Kankakee, Ill. Three brothers and 2 sisters-in-law Thomas and Renee Christensen of Bradley, Il, Rodney and Marla Christensen of Arlington, TX and Roland Christensen of Kankakee, Il. 7 Grandchildren Justin and Kayla Solomon, Jacob, Jeremy and Jerod Snejberg and Leanne and Miriah Snejberg. 4 Great Grandchildren, Safianii Montalvo, Riley Mae Solomon, Mavvrick Solomon and Rowan Snejberg.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers Alfred Keerbs, Jerome Christensen, Billy Christensen, Terry Christensen and Artel Christensen.

Carol grew up in Kankakee Il. Before retiring and moving to St. Petersburg, FL. Carol graduated from Kankakee Senior High School on June 3rd, 1958.

Carol was a retired home maker who loved to read, knit, and crochet. She also loved taking care of her birds (5 parakeets) she loved church and her spiritual reading books. She was a big supporter of St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Shriners Hospital and our Veterans.
