Obituary of Martin Alexander Sledzaus

Sledzaus, Martin Alexander “Marty”, 75, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on June 30^th, 2022. Marty was born September 1^st, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York and Move to St. Petersburg, Florida around 1980. He loved the watching the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, playing darts, reading Stephen King Novels and listening to Country Music and 70's Music. Marty proudly served in the United States Navy. He served tours in Vietnam and Agent Orange. He also retired from United States Food Industry and worked for Arnold Bready many years ago.

Marty was preceded in death by:   Jessie Sledzaus (wife), Frank Sledzaus (father), Helen Sinkevich Sledzaus (mother), Toni Sledzaus (brother), and other Aunts and Uncles. He is survived by: Stepdaughters Sandie Bree, Robin Cundiff (Tim Cundiff), Sharon Bree Dunn, grandchildren Cyra Zopfi, Krysti Zopfi, Derek Zopfi, Ryan Benac, Torrie Dunn, and great grandchildren Carson Benac, Evelyn Wright, Ryder Spelock, Maryanne Santora (sister), John Santora (brother in-law), Diane Cordes (niece) (Nick Cordes), Andrew Cordes, Laura Maddalena (niece) (Joe Maddalena), John Maddalena, Ryan Maddalena, Robert (Bobby) Sledzaus (brother) (Jim Moran).

Services are being held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on July 27, 2022 at 2:30 pm.
