Obituary of Anne Feeley

Feeley, Anne Marie, 88, of St. Petersburg took one last dance and then peacefully passed away on April 18, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Proceeded in death by her parents Russell and Grace Black, brothers Bill and Gerald and the love of her life, husband Thomas J. Feeley. Anne is survived by her brother Thomas Black, sons Patrick Sean Feeley (Maura) and Daniel Edward Feeley (Karem), daughters Colleen Feeley Hanko, Cathleen Feeley Precious (Chris). Anne’s pride and joys of her life were her 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Christina, Thomas, Daniel, Peyton, and Elena. She was also loved and was loved by her numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

Born in Morriston, NJ but at the age of 3 moved to Florida. Raised in St. Petersburg and a graduate of the Class of 1953 from St. Petersburg High School. Anne was a joy to all that knew her. Anne was very involved with St Raphael Catholic Church and School where all four of her children attended. She loved spearheading the annual school Fundraiser called “Oktoberfests” and driving the school bus for all important school events. Anne was known for her gift of gab and wonderful ability to make everyone feel good about themselves. This suited her in both of her careers, first with the General Telephone Company and then with Re/Max Reality where she was a Broker/Agent for most of her working years. Anne was an amazing Mother and even better Grandmother never missing a single sporting event or school function. Her greatest love was her family. She was so blessed to have had a very large extended family who lived in northeast St Petersburg. There was always a reason for celebration with more than 25 family members in just a mile radius of their home. Anne loved entertaining her family and friends, St Patrick’s Day was one of her favorites. Oh, how she loved to sing and dance with all her family and friends. Anne taught by example being a devout catholic and living life to the fullest. She guided, loved, and nurtured each one of her 4 children and 6 grandchildren with the gifts that God gave them to be the best version of themselves.
