Obituary of Diane Holland

Shirley "Diane" Holland, 70, of St. Petersburg, FL entered into God's rest on November 21, 2023.  She passed at St. Anthony's Hospital after a 10 day ICU stay following emergency bypass surgery.

Diane was born and raised in Montgomery County Maryland.  She attended Gaithersburg High School.  She was employed as a data processor in claims in the insurance industry.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Carl Marcum and Opal Jones; her siblings,William Marcum, Betty Hawking and Kenneth Marcum.  She is survived by: her loving husband of 36 years, David "Bruce" Holland; 1 sister, Linda L. Williams; 2 sons, Wayne L. Bain and David L Bain; 1 daughter, Tammy E. Spriggs; 2 granddaughters, Samantha Bain and Tiara Sprinkel; 4 greatchildren.

She loved decorating her home for each holiday and enjoyed crafting, cooking and candy making.  With her beautiful smile, she had no trouble making friends.  Because of her love for children, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's research hospital.  To donate, click here
