Quentin Kasson

Obituary of Quentin Joseph Kasson

Quentin Joseph Kasson passed away peacefully in the embrace of his parents on February 5th, 2024, due to a common complication with his condition, BPD (also known as chronic lung disease). Quentin was born on March 21st, 2023 to parents Jacob and Anna, their first and only child. Quentin was the happiest and smiliest baby boy. He spent much of his life in the hospital, however during his three and a half weeks at home he was able to explore the world. He went to the aquarium, baked in the kitchen with momma, played with his puppies, stole daddy’s hat too many times to count, and frequently went out to eat with Mimi and Grandpa. He was curious about the world and a light to the hospital staff and anyone who met him! Quinny’s favorite things were warm hugs and being surrounded by people. The world is left a little dimmer in his absence, but his impact on those who knew him will never be forgotten.

Quentin is survived by his parents, Jacob and Anna, and his grandparents, Peter, Michelle, Lauren, and Jack, as well as many loving great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and puppies. Part of Quentin will be laid to rest with his great-grandfather, Joseph Brown, and the rest of Quentin will continue to accompany his parents on many great adventures as they heal. A private service will be held for the family on March 1st, and a reception will be held after at Devou Golf & Event Center at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please hold your donations till a later date for an honorary park in Quentin’s name.
