Obituary of Edmund Ed'' D. Livingston

Livingston, Edmund ?Ed? Douglas, Sr., 76 of St. Petersburg, FL died Wednesday July 19, 2000 at Holden Beach, NC while on vacation. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1968 from his native Hartford, Connecticut. He retired as the Plumbing Foreman from the Bay Pines V.A. Medical Center in St. Petersburg. He was a member of Northside Lodge #283 F&AM; a member of the 6th Marine Division Association and life member of the Marine Corp League and was a veteran of WWII; a life member of V.F.W. Post 6827 and life member of DAV #9; a member of the National Railroad Historical Society; and member of the First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Nancy Ann; four sons: Edmund ?Ed? Livingston, Jr., Pinellas Park, FL; Jerry Livingston, Middletown, CT; Mark VanName, Raleigh, NC; Martin VanName, Clearwater, FL; two daughters: Alli Masse, St. Johnsbury, VT; and Liza Johnson, Winter Springs, FL; one sister, Bernice Reig, Manchester CT; one brother, William Livingston, St. Petersburg; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be 11:00AM July 26th at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center, Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg. Interment will be 2:30PM July 26th at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam to Edmund Douglas Livingston, Sr., may be made to the National World War II Memorial, Court House Plaza II, Suite 501, 2300 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, Virginia 22201.
