Showell, Hilda Kathleen, 69, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, September 3rd, 2000 at Bon Secours-Maria Manor. She came here in 1950 from her native Andrews, SC and she was a member of Northside United Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, Kim Showell and Sharon Ames, both of St. Petersburg; 3 brothers, Carlisle, Junior, and Theron Cox, all of Andrews, SC; 1 sister, Winifred Register of Columbia, SC; 2 granddaughters, Stephanie & Michelle Ames; and 2 great grandchildren, Tylar Ames & Elexis Wallace.
