Ellison, Emil R. ?Poppie?, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, October 19, 2000 at home. Born in Modena, New York, he came here in 1976 from Walkill, New York. He was a retired auto mechanic. He was a member of Meadowlawn Presbyterian Church. He was an Army WWII Veteran. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Alice Ellison, a daughter, Bonnie Ellison of St. Petersburg, and 4 sisters, Florence B. Jamison of Poughkeepsie, NY, Linda Baker of Highland, NY, Rose Southworth of Summerdale, Alabama and Winifred Southworth of Bilver Plains, NY, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
