Obituary of Richard A. Johnson

Johnson, Richard A., Sr., 53, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday November 2, 2000 at Vencor Hospital in St. Petersburg. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he came here in 1977 from Reading, PA. He was self-employed as a carpenter. From 1977 to 1980, he worked for the City of St. Petersburg as maintenance for the parks and recreation. He enjoyed woodworking, helping others, and reading. He was a protestant. Survivors include his wife, Julia of St. Petersburg, two sons, Brian Johnson of St. Petersburg, and Richard Johnson, Jr. of Madison, MS, and one daughter, Jennifer Johnson of St. Petersburg, one brother, Thomas Johnson of Seminole, two sisters, Joan Bergstresser of Reading, PA and Kay Crosland of Lancaster, PA, and two grandchildren.
