Obituary of Fern Hull Lucido

Lucido, Fern Hull, 90, of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Malden, died Thursday, November 23, 2000. She was born in Cotuit on Cape Cod and moved to Boston as a young girl. She later married James J. Lucido and lived in Malden, where she was President of the Linden Association. She was also a member of the American Legion Navy Post #297 in Boston. She and her husband moved to St. Petersburg in 1969 for their retirement years, and she became a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #14 and the St. Petersburg Home Association. She was a life member of D.A.V. Post #91 in Pinellas Park, FL. She is survived by 17 nieces & nephews, including Robert D. DesMaisons of Chelsea, MA. She was pre-deceased by her husband, James J. Lucido; and 4 sisters, Thelma DesMaisons of Topsfield, Ida Bowman of Falmouth, Eleanor Mader of Dorchester, and Marcella Mamaty of Weymouth. Visitation will be 2-5 P.M. Monday at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes-McLeod Chapel in St. Petersburg where the funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg. The family requests memorial contributions be sent to The Boston Childrens Hospital, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association.
