Obituary of Thelma E Gowing

Gowing, Thelma E., 83, of Pinellas Park, died Thursday, November 23rd, 2000. She was born in Plymouth, PA and came here in 1976 from Rochester, NY where she was a cosmetologist at Tege?s Beauty Salon for 17 years. Locally, she was a member of Suncoast Cathedral Assembly of God where she was a choir member, in the Silver Saints Kazoo Band, and was Vice President of the Women?s Ministries. She was also in the Pinewood Mobile Home Village Kazoo Band and performed at local nursing homes. She is survived by 3 daughters, Zoe Miller of Pinellas Park, Carol McCarthy of Tamarac, FL, and Doreen Thompson of Farmington, NY; 1 brother, Ralph Ogin of Newark, NJ; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
